Self-expanding stent system with a hybrid cell design, uniform radial strength and one-handed release, in diameters from 4 to 10 mm and lengths up to 220 mm.

SelfEx® is a self-expanding nitinol peripheral stent system (nickel-titanium alloy) for endovascular procedures in the peripheral arteries. Thanks to nitinol's shape memory, the stent recovers its nominal diameter when released and exerts a chronic, gradual and sustained radial force on the vessel wall.
Its hybrid cell design combines closed-cell ends, which provide stability during deployment, with an open-cell central segment that offers multidirectional flexibility and greater fracture resistance. Its 6F over-the-wiredelivery system, with a multifunctional braided catheter and an ergonomic handle for one-handed release, is designed for precise, reproducible positioning.
It is manufactured by SLTL Group (Sahajanand Laser Technology Ltd., India) in diameters from 4 to 10 mm and lengths from 20 to 220 mm: 77 combinations covering everything from focal lesions to long segments.
The engineering attributes that define how SelfEx performs inside the vessel and during the procedure.
A shape-memory nitinol architecture that eases deployment, and a multifunctional braided catheter that balances pushability, trackability and flexibility.
A hybrid design with multidirectional flexibility: closed-cell ends for stable deployment and a fracture-resistant open-cell center.
Resists compression and maintains luminal gain. Its dimensional design harmonizes radial force across the full diameter range.
Nitinol's shape memory applies a persistent chronic outward force that supports healing without excessive stress on the vessel wall.
Tantalum markers on the stent and platinum-iridium bands on the catheter for clear visibility under fluoroscopy and precise deployment.
An ergonomically designed handle that lets you release the stent with one hand, for ease of use and precise placement.
In peripheral arteries exposed to flexion, torsion and compression, cell design determines how a stent behaves over time. SelfEx distributes these functions along its structure:

Unconstrained stent diameter. All 77 diameter and length combinations are available across the matrix.
It is a stent made of a shape-memory nickel-titanium alloy: it is delivered compressed inside a catheter and, once deployed, recovers its nominal diameter and exerts sustained radial force on the vessel wall, with no need for a balloon.
It combines closed-cell ends, which provide stability when the stent is released, with an open-cell center that adds multidirectional flexibility and greater fracture resistance.
Diameters from 4 to 10 mm and lengths from 20 to 220 mm, with 77 combinations in total.
The over-the-wire system has a 6F profile, requires a minimum 6F introducer and is compatible with 0.035″ (0.89 mm) guidewires. Usable catheter length is 120 cm.
